National & State Park Fee Information
Flagstaff and the surrounding area has a large number of State and National Parks. Yes, pricing can be confusing. Many of the rides do require a park entry fee and we will try to point out pricing and options as best we can. However, each attendee must choose the park package that works best for them. You may be able to buy these passes before you come to AmeriVespa.
- National Park Rides: Grand Canyon, Wupatki Pueblo National Monument, Sunset Crater
- AZ State Park Rides: Slide Rock
Grand Canyon Ride Note: the $30 motorcycle fee to enter the park is good for 7 days, for Driver & Passanger, but does NOT include entry into any other park.
There are discounts for Veterans, be sure to check links at bottom of page.
Our Grand Canyon Park Contact sent the following info for choosing your Grand Canyon and other National Park Passes:
"To make your experience and visit more pleasant and efficient for park staff and other visitors, we have the following recommendations for your visit.
Fees may be paid ahead of time for each rider at Recreation.gov. If your group members chose to payonline, they would choose the "motorcycle" option and the entrance fee is $30 per Vespa and show their digital pass on their phone along with a photo ID at the entrance station. As your group is paying individually, they can use America the Beautiful passes to cover their entrance fee instead. I recommend sharing this pass information with your participants. If they do not already have one of these passes, and qualify or wish to purchase an annual pass, theycan be obtained at other federal recreation areas near their home or they should wait and purchase it at the entrance station the day of the event. Please note that America the Beautiful passes must be physically presented along with a photo ID at time of entry (ex. they forgot it at home) a photo of the pass is not sufficient."
